Barbara Bush, The Passing of a First Lady, Wife, Mother And An Icon
Barbara Bush, The Passing of a First Lady, Wife, Mother And An Icon!
While I will admit that I voted for both Bush’s, did four times, three of them winning votes, one not, and I supported them in their presidency, I have in my later years found nothing but disappointment with them. But I will say, Barbara Bush, the wife of George H.W. Bush, our 41st president handled her post as the first lady, later as the mother of a president with nothing but class and poise.
My view of the Bush family has changed much over the years, more so after the election of President Trump, the pettiness, backstabbing, the willingness to cross party and vote for Clinton, which makes me question their dedication to the GOP to start with, I have found as time has gone on they are more part of the problem with the deep state then part of the solution, as such, I will never cast another vote for them, although I don’t regret casting the ones I did, I thought they were the best choice at the time.
My view of the matriarch of the family has not changed, even though I will admit I was not happy with her attacks against Trump, but in the end thought this was more of a mothers reaction towards attacks on her son who was president and the one running, attacks I may add I thought were entirely justified, but regardless of justified or not, any mother in the world, regardless of age will as a rule run to the defense of their child.
My heart goes out to the family, I have not yet lost a parent, but am married to one that did, and did so at a young age, I think regardless of age losing such a one leaves a hole in your heart until the day you die. While it is okay to have political differences, it is also okay to act humanely and empathize with the family that has lost so much. As such my prayers and heart will go out to the Bush family, may they find comfort in what their mother, wife, and grandmother did while living. Barbara Bush, you will be missed by a nation, we all thank you for the dedication you showed us.
