California Tells Hotels, Give up Rooms For Homeless, Or we Will Seize Hotels, Gives Drugs and Alcohol away

California, the more this shut down continues, is edging more and more towards the tyrannical. Now hotels are being told, take in the homeless, they don’t need to pay, if you don’t, we will seize your property.

Meanwhile, while this is happening, they are now handing out marijuana, drugs, and alcohol for free to addicts. Remember, this is the same state that released inmates, will not arrest people that violate the law, now want to impose on businesses they have to take the homeless in.

I have one question, “How many of these California officials have taken a homeless person into their home or place of business, and if not, they whey? If they are going to demand this of the people they “claim” to represent, why aren’t they leading by example?

Los Angeles

Activist, like LA attorney Shayla Myers are leading the charge in California saying:

“If you can tell the entire city of Los Angeles that we can shelter in place, then you can tell the hotels they are commandeered and they need to open their doors to the residents of skid row,” said Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles attorney Shayla Myers, during a recent federal court hearing in a lawsuit on homelessness.

It is one thing to say you are paying rent for this, and LA does pay for about 2,200 hotel rooms. Still, now LA and other state activists are pushing both local and state authorities to go further, to commandeer the hotels, then put up whom you wish without any say from the owners.

One has to wonder, has Shayla Myers ever put up any of these homeless in her place of residence? If not, then why is she demanding others do this in their business?

This is nothing but socialism. California is taking over private property, demanding they submit or face ramifications. They seem to think the state has the right to dictate the actions of owners.

San Francisco

In San Francisco, they have gone a step further, with no one out and about to steal from. They are so concerned that with this means to raise money stripped from the homeless, the drug addicts and alcoholics will miss out, so now they are buying them their drugs and alcohol.

According to KTVU, the agency said the practice is providing support to the city’s vulnerable residents while they are kept apart from others due to social distancing rules because of COVID-19.

“With regard to supporting people who are at risk, or who need to be in quarantine or isolation because they’re COVID positive, our focus needs to be on supporting them,” Dr. Grant Colfax of the city’s Department of Public Health said.

“Meeting them where they are so that they can be cared for in the most appropriate way. In the way that’s good for them and for our community.”

While they are giving these people free room and board, they are also giving them cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs at no charge. I must say, “In San Francisco, it is profitable to be a homeless drug addict!”
