Durham Going Through Flynn Case, Looking Into Bringing Charges

Durham is now going over Flynn investigations, emails between agents openly saying their goal was to set up Flynn, get him to lie so they could charge him, and then remove him from Trump administration.

Fox News reports:

U.S. Attorney for Connecticut John Durham has reviewed the bombshell files released earlier this week showing FBI officials discussed whether they wanted to interview Michael Flynn in order to “get him to lie,” sources familiar with his investigation told Fox News, as the document drop renews attention on his probe of the law enforcement community’s Russia case.

Sources even said charges could be justified against officials, and that those reviewing the Justice Department and the FBI’s actions are building a “serious case.” Durham and Attorney General Bill Barr are said to be speaking regularly.

Durham has seen all of this already,” one source told Fox News, adding that they “could be sufficient for some charges against agents.”

Last Wednesday the documents were unsealed by the Justice Department, they revealed that top FBI officials debated if their “goal” with Flynn was “to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired.”

These were put together by Obama’s Bill Priestap after a meeting with James Comey and Andrew McCabe before his interview Flynn.

The notes between agents also noted that they were considering pursuing Flynn over the Logan Act, to get him to admit that this was what he was doing when he spoke with former Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, during the transition period after the election, before Trump took office. The Logan Act has never been used in a charge; it was a law put into effect to prevent private citizens from negotiating in the name of the government, something we have seen from John Kerry and others.

It turns out what has bothered Durham the most is that not one person came forward and reported what was going on. The moves by the deep state were so open and brazen, yet no one was willing to come forward and expose what had happened.

“Barr talks to Durham every day,” a source told Fox News. “The president has been briefed that the case is being pursued, and it’s serious.”

The source added: “They’ve asked the president to say nothing about it and not screw it up. He is laying back for a change.”

The question at this point is if Trump should pardon Flynn or have a federal judge throw the case out. I would rather see the charges thrown out, it would show there is nothing there, but a pardon would disable any attempt to try to get Flynn to face prosecution in the future.

As I said with A.G. Barr’s Problem – Bring Charges, Tear Down This Government as We Know IT, Or Give A Pass, this is coming, but hopefully will arrive at one time. The question today is if Barr will clear everyone out at one time, thus leaving Justice, the FBI, and other intelligence agencies in a weakened state, this is something Barr is trying to go over now.
