Pope Blames People For Virus, How Things Have Changed

Pope Frances says in an interview that COVID-19 is a result of us not fighting Global Warming on a global scale.

I must start this off with I was a huge fan of Pope John Paul, met him once in Denver in the ’80s, was amazed by him, but this Pope now, it seems like we have the opposite sitting in the Vatican. I know this may trigger some people; this is not an attack against the Catholic Church; it is an opening of eyes against the person running it today.

Since Pope Francis has put on the ring, or the crown, we have seen precisely the opposite of what John Paul fought against. He fought against socialism, lived in the midst of it, saw the evil it brought, worked hand in hand with Reagan, Thatcher and others to bring down the Iron curtain, this Pope seems to want to bring this all back.

The push for socialism, the outright hypocrisy of lecturing Trump over walls, when his Vatican sits surrounded by towering walls with guards to protect it is outright shameful. But his push for globalism, socialistic ideology, lecturing other nations how they have to change in radical ways their demographics to take in refugees that hate all they stand for, this is inexcusable.

But now blaming humanity and our lack of response to global warming, this is beyond me.

Asked by British journalist Austen Ivereigh whether the COVID-19 crisis is an opportunity for an “ecological conversion,” the pontiff reasserted his belief that humanity has provoked nature by not responding adequately to the climate crisis.

“There is an expression in Spanish: ‘God always forgives, we forgive sometimes, but nature never forgives,'” Francis said in the interview published Wednesday. “We did not respond to the partial catastrophes. Who now speaks of the fires in Australia, or remembers that a year and a half ago a boat could cross the North Pole because the glaciers had all melted? Who speaks now of the floods?”

“I don’t know if it is nature’s revenge, but it is certainly “I don’t know if it is nature’s revenge, but it is certainly nature’s response,” he added.

“Every crisis contains both danger and opportunity: the opportunity to move out from the danger,” he said. “Today, I believe we have to slow down our rate of production and consumption and to learn to understand and contemplate the natural world.”

In other words, we are being told if we don’t adhere to AOC’s Green New Deal, we are doomed to have more viruses, I must ask, was it global warming that brought about the Spanish Flu in the early 1900s? What about the Black Plague, the others that came when humanity was in small numbers?

This is not comfort; this is pushing a socialistic agenda, nothing more.

We saw the power of what the office gives with Pope John Paul, we now know the ruin it can bring with this pope, the truth is, while I am not catholic, I am Jewish. Still, my wife is, I speak not out of hatred, I speak out of shame, trying to figure out how things had changed so radically in just a few years.
