Stacey Abrams, Who Lost The Last Governors Race, Claims She is Running For Reelection
Stacey Abrams, who still believes she is Georgia’s governor, announced Wednesday afternoon that she is pursuing another bid for the Peach State’s chief executive role despite losing the popular vote.
Remember, this is the same person that has attacked GOP members over questioning the 2020 election, then turned around and claimed the election was stolen from her, even though she did not win the popular vote.
Some could not help but make a joke over how she claims to be the real governor and is running for the spot:
If successful in the Democratic primary, Abrams could face a rematch with Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, who defeated her three years ago.
Abrams said she’s running “because opportunity and success in Georgia shouldn’t be determined by your Zip code, background or access to power.”
While Georgia has changed the last three years — supporting Joe Biden for president, and narrowly electing two Democrats to the U.S. Senate in a special election after conspiratorial surrogates suppressed Republican votes — Abrams has been working as a “voting rights activist.” Some credit her with boosting voter turnout in Georgia last year to aid Biden, Raphael Warnock, and Jon Ossoff.
“If our Georgia is going to move to its next and greatest chapter, we’re going to need leadership,” Abrams said in her announcement video. “Leadership that knows how to do the job. Leadership that doesn’t take credit without taking responsibility. Leadership that understands the true pain folks are feeling and has real plans. That’s the job of the governor, to fight for one Georgia — our Georgia. And now, it’s time to get the job done.”
The New York Times reported Abrams “has come to embody the state’s changing racial and political makeup.”
The highest office Abrams, 48, has held was a state legislator.
One intriguing question is who a certain former president might support if Abrams faces Kemp again.
Notes from the Editor
With the ‘woke’ left, sometimes you have played the victim for so long, you forget why you’re the victim, so now you have to make stuff up, then assume that you have a right, entitlement to whatever it is that you desire. This is what we see with Abrams.
After telling herself and her followers that she won an election she lost, she is forced to keep up the great lie; now, she is running for reelection of an office she never held (but claims she rightfully should have).
Sorry, in some ways, this reminds me of my child when he was three. He thought he should have something, took ownership, then demanded it saying somehow what he wanted was his, even though he never possessed it. Scary, this is what the Left seeks to bring to normalcy in America, our politicians on the Left acting like a three-year-old throwing a tantrum.
